“Trauma will run through generations until someone is brave enough to feel.”

Butterfly Energy is a transformative approach to healing from trauma that draws inspiration from the metamorphic journey of a butterfly.

Just as a butterfly undergoes significant changes from egg to caterpillar, chrysalis, and finally winged form, individuals healing from trauma can navigate through similar stages of growth and transformation.

This process involves shedding old layers of pain and suffering, building new strengths, and ultimately emerging as a more resilient and empowered version of oneself.

Healing from trauma with Butterfly Energy involves embracing the metaphorical stages of the butterfly’s life cycle. The caterpillar stage focuses on grounding and nurturing oneself, building a solid foundation for healing.

This stage encourages individuals to address their basic needs and establish routines that promote stability and safety.

The chrysalis stage represents a period of deep inner work, where individuals reflect on past experiences, confront and release old patterns, and engage in practices like shadow work and emotional healing.

This stage is crucial for transformation, as it allows for integrating new insights and healing deep-seated wounds.

Finally, the butterfly stage symbolizes the emergence of the healed self. Here, individuals experience a sense of renewal and freedom, letting go of their past traumas and embracing their true, authentic selves.

This stage is about celebrating personal growth, maintaining balance, and continuing to expand one’s potential.

By following the Butterfly Energy framework, individuals can navigate the complexities of trauma recovery with a sense of purpose and direction, ultimately achieving inner harmony and balance.

I can write a whole book series, but I can’t think of what to put on this About Me page. Who am I? If you ask my kids, I have a different personality daily, but I believe having that range is all about balance. Being the same every day is boring.

I recently quit my job and told them I would rather be homeless and sleep in my car than walk back into that building. If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m a proud Scorpio. I’m working on balancing this so I won’t drive too many people crazy, but there is no fun in normal.
